In the 18th and 19th Century, Paris was not only the culture capital of Europe, but also the center of its luxuries. The complex and ornate interior decoration in the Palace of Versailles had become the necessity of a high-qualitied life, while the “Royal Style” and the “French Style”from Paris had swept and spread to the whole European continent.

Being an era of dramatic change, this beautiful time with unrestrained thought reflected both the life style of the imperial court, and the innovation and creativity brought by the industrial revolution. The great French artisans in the 19th Century inherited the 17th and 18th art salons and made their own innovation on this basis. Such innovation reminds people of the heyday of the Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. The Chinese artisans at that time mastered the same talent and skill to foster and enhance the great craft s from Song Dynasty and Ming Dynasty.

As the taste of art and the demand of life of the Chinese elite class are increasing, the art works bearing the essence of European culture, have once again entered into our vision and brought us the indelible memory of time
